As one of the European leaders in solutions for Risk and Wealth Management, Prometeia is looking for a Cost Controller to join the Planning & Control team within the Administration, Finance, and Control Directorate. The role will focus on Planning and Control activities with a specific emphasis on production costs and corporate functions.

The resource will actively contribute to the optimization of cost monitoring and reporting processes and, in general, to the automation and industrialization of the Group's Planning and Control processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring and analysis of company costs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information. For their areas of responsibility, preparation of periodic reporting and analysis of variances between actual data, budgets, forecasts, and company targets;
• Active participation in periodic closing, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes;
• Support to business referents and cost center managers in monitoring costs of responsibility, timely identification of trends and phenomena, and support in defining potential countermeasures and corrective actions;
• Collaboration with Procurement and Finance colleagues and referents to identify cost efficiency and reduction opportunities;
• Participation in company transformation, digitalization, and continuous improvement projects. In particular, participation in cross-functional AFC projects for process automation, reporting automation, data quality, and process mining.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Finance, or related disciplines;
• Experience in Management Control, Cost Controlling, or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A);
• Good knowledge of general and industrial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis processes;
• Accuracy, analytical skills, and methodology;
• Strong orientation towards data analysis. Ability to transform data into insights;
• Excellent command of Excel and/or other data analysis tools. Additional digital skills or previous experience with specific management control tools are a plus;
• Good knowledge of the English language.
