Cost Analyst

We are looking for a Cost Analyst to join our Plant Finance team in Monterrey. This role supports manufacturing operations through cost accounting, inventory control, and financial analysis, contributing to accurate financial reporting, effective month-end close activities, and reliable data for operational and financial decision-making. Role Responsibilities: Maintain and update standard costs for manufactured products, including monthly and annual inventory revaluations. Calculate and validate the accuracy of actual costs versus budgeted costs. Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives. Provide expert-level support in the development and maintenance of financial models, reports, and dashboards. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including plant managers, department heads, and other finance team members. Role Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 3+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
