Job Description As the Culinary & Operations Coach you will play a pivotal role by leading, motivating and coaching Restaurant teams on all aspects of the Guzman y Gomez (GYG) experience. This is a hands-on role with the primary focus on training, coaching and auditing restaurants on all aspects of Culinary, Operations and Guest Experience. What you’ll do: * Conduct training and coaching sessions to ensure restaurant teams consistently deliver the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and guest experience. * Conduct regular audits of restaurants, providing constructive feedback and action plans to address areas for improvement. * Assist in the development and implementation of new training programs and initiatives. * Stay up-to-date on all menu items, preparation methods, and operational procedures. * Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing and Operations, to ensure alignment of goals and objectives. * Provide support and guidance to Restaurant Managers and Team Members. * Create a positive and motivating work environment. * Travel to restaurants within the assigned territory to conduct training and audits. * Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement, and assist in the development of future leaders. * Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including recipe adherence, food safety and presentation. * Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner. * Identify training needs and provide coaching in the areas of food quality and consistency, guest service, kitchen operations, and overall restaurant operations. * Ensure that restaurants adhere to brand standards in all areas, including food preparation, service, cleanliness, and ambiance. * Provide support to New Restaurant Openings (NROs). What you’ll bring: * Minimum 2 years' experience as a multi-unit leader, area manager or coach within a restaurant environment. * Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and guest experience. * Excellent communication, interpersonal and coaching skills. * Ability to train and motivate teams to achieve high standards of performance. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory. * Experience with health and safety regulations. * Experience in a quick-service restaurant (QSR) environment is advantageous. * A passion for Mexican food and culture. * Ability to coach, support and develop restaurant teams.
