Technician Coordinator / Workshop Manager Timisoara

Bergerat Monnoyeur, authorized dealer of Caterpillar machinery in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, is recruiting for the positions of Workshop Manager and Intervention Technicians Coordinator for its Timisoara branch.

Higher technical education – mechanical or electrical profile
Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, industrial, or agricultural machinery, vehicles, or related fields
Experience in the following activities: service, mechanization, preparation/offering of work estimates, customer invoicing, reception, customer correspondence; working with technical documentation

Knowledge:
Construction machinery/equipment
Good general technical knowledge
PC operation skills (Word, Excel; IT data management systems)
English language proficiency at an intermediate level

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Intervention Technicians Coordinator:
Organizes and technically and administratively coordinates the activity of the repair team – external interventions (technicians and diagnostic experts)
Plans external service interventions, assigning missions to technicians in the Timisoara area
Manages the technical conditions of service intervention
Ensures the availability of human and material resources necessary for intervention (personnel, spare parts)
Supervises the quality of external interventions: promptness, adherence to maintenance schedules, cost reduction, application of operating rules (contractual commitments, invoicing, work safety)
Contributes to the smooth running of difficult technical interventions
Transmits the pre-diagnosis to external intervention mechanics
Approves warranty requests in the first instance and agrees them with the warranty manager
Validates (or, as the case may be, prepares) the estimate for customers, prepared by the service correspondent
Searches for spare parts and technical information in the IT system
Ensures customer relations: listens, advises, and informs customers
Continuously updates knowledge of the machinery range
Informs and dialogues with Service Sales Representatives
Daily motivates the repair team: motivates, listens, manages conflicts
Promotes a favorable social climate, maintaining a permanent team spirit and responsibility.

Responsibilities of the Workshop Manager:

Ensures the quality of service operations in the workshop, guaranteeing customer satisfaction

Anticipates and manages absences

Informs and communicates with the team, in order to understand common objectives for quality, performance, and customer satisfaction

Provides their collaborators with all necessary technical assistance

Provides the tools necessary for carrying out workshop missions

Allocates and manages the tools necessary for technicians to carry out their work

Manages and plans the team's activity

Contributes to the evolution and development of the team's competencies, proposing necessary training plans

Implements and ensures the application of work safety rules in the workshop
