Office Technical Coordinator

Lead

Job description

Office Technical Coordinator

Our company is looking for a dedicated and talented Office Technical Coordinator to join our dynamic team. If you are an organized person with excellent communication skills and a passion for technology, this position might be for you.

About the role

The Technical Coordinator operationally leads the technical department and is the single point of escalation for construction sites, so that the Technical Director is no longer involved in current execution issues. Procurement and Production are not subordinate to him, but he sets the delivery priorities between construction sites.

It is a key position in the organization: the direct liaison between technical management and project/engineering teams, with a daily impact on the execution pace on all construction sites.

Responsibilities:

- Allocates projects to project managers or engineers, within a maximum of 1 day of being informed.

- Sets the delivery priority when two construction sites request the same resource, with a decision communicated to procurement and production within 24 hours.

- Arbitrates situations where the Project Manager and the Engineer do not reach an agreement, with a decision given within a maximum of 24 hours from notification.

- Leads the weekly technical meeting, with the participation of procurement, and ensures the drafting of written minutes.

- Approves the weekly execution schedule (every Wednesday) and communicates it to engineers, procurement, and production.

- Technically validates the requirements and proposed solutions for large projects, within a maximum of 1 day of receiving the requirement.

- Weekly checks (on Fridays) the adherence to the settlement procedure on all construction sites and reports deviations to the Technical Director.

- Monitors the execution status against the Gantt chart across the entire portfolio and signals deviations within 24 hours.

- Technically develops project managers and engineers, through training and a minimum of 2 days on-site per month for each project manager.

- Handles calls and issues from construction sites that go beyond the engineer's scope, ensuring that no operational problem reaches the Technical Director directly.

Requirements:

- Higher technical education (construction, civil engineering, or similar field).

- Previous experience in construction site coordination, project management, or construction execution.

- Proven ability to make quick decisions and manage conflicts between teams.

- Knowledge of planning (Gantt charts) and availability for frequent site visits.

- Category B driver's license.

- Solid communication, organization, and leadership skills.

The benefits of working as an office technical coordinator within our company include opportunities for professional growth, a stimulating and collaborative work environment, and access to state-of-the-art resources and technologies.

What we offer:

- a motivating salary package

- the opportunity to be part of a young, dynamic, and united team, where collaboration goes hand in hand with a good mood;

- team activities and relaxation moments together, such as themed picnics, team building events, and recreational outings;

- training and specific job instruction, as well as access to resources that support continuous professional development, including the internal library;

- a pleasant work environment, where you will discover other advantages once you become part of our team.
