About the Real Estate department
The Real Estate department manages and develops real estate in Europe's largest port. Our property portfolio is extensive and diverse, ranging from offices, workshops, schools, traffic centers, and much more. We strive for sustainable, compliant, and future-proof real estate management that contributes to harbor activities.

Your role

As a Service- and Contract Manager, you are responsible for the strategic management of real estate contracts and services. You monitor quality, performance, and optimal collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You have a key role in realizing compliance, sustainability, and technical management according to the NEN 2767 methodology.

You are not only responsible for the contractual and process-related aspects but also for the content side of service delivery. You function as a sparring partner for colleagues and suppliers on the subject of installation technical, constructional, and other technical issues. Therefore, in-depth knowledge of building-bound installations and constructional elements is essential.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for service- and contract management within the real estate portfolio.
- Coordinate complex tendering processes and contract negotiations.
- Manage contracts throughout their entire lifecycle, including monitoring, evaluation, and revision.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines.
- Integrate sustainability requirements into contracts and supplier management.
- Apply and monitor the NEN 2767 condition measurement in the management process.
- Spar with internal and external parties on installation technical and constructional issues.
- Report on contract performance and advise on optimizations.

The Requirements
  • Candidate has demonstrable experience with lifecycle management of real estate.
  • Candidate has demonstrable in-depth knowledge of building-bound installations and constructional aspects.
  • Candidate has demonstrable experience with compliance requirements and experience with NEN 2767 condition measurement.
  • Candidate has demonstrable experience with contract management, tendering in the real estate world.
  • Has senior-level experience with negotiating and knows how to strongly formulate and defend goals. This should be demonstrated in an eventual interview.
  • Candidate has HBO/WO work- and thinking level.
