Coordinator of Equipment Maintenance at a Glassworks

Job description:

• Ensuring proper operation of all equipment on the glassworks premises and supply chain, including:
  • Planning inspections and repairs, commissioning specific repairs and maintenance for smooth functioning of the glassworks, supply chain, and equipment on baths and conveyors, in cooperation with internal departments and external firms.
  • Planning annual budgets to secure funds for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Preparing requirements for spare parts necessary to maintain proper, uninterrupted operation of equipment on the premises.
• Responsibility for raw materials needed for glass production, including:
  • Ongoing monitoring of the state of raw material reserves necessary for the functioning of the plant.
  • Controlling conformity of glassmaking raw materials deliveries.
  • Accepting and issuing raw materials in SAP system.
  • Prompt and timely unloading of glassmaking raw materials.
• Coordinating work of external firms regarding equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
