Requirements:

• Inform workers about construction risks, discuss safe working methods, procedures to follow, and regulations to respect;
• Participate in various construction meetings. Contribute to the SST module and project planning;
• Mastery of regulatory and internal requirements to act as a health and safety resource at work;
• Identify hazards and analyze risks associated with different types of work;
• Participate in risk analysis for the project and ensure follow-up;
• Intervene and investigate incidents occurring on site and document them;
• Contribute to all activities related to preventing accidents and occupational injuries on site;
• Animate and ensure the holding of SST construction meetings and welcomes;
• Complete daily reports and relevant subfolders (e.g. daily interventions, number of workers, accidents, etc.);
• Work with the superintendent in case of disciplinary advice.

Requirements:

• Certified coordinator SST on construction sites;
• Health and safety training for construction (ASP construction);
• Knowledge of current Quebec labor laws and regulations;
• Mastery of MS Office suite.
