Commercial Planning Coordinator

Objective of the position

Ensure the planning and strategic management of the purchase budget, guaranteeing optimal product availability to meet sales, growth, and assortment objectives. The position requires constant monitoring of inventories and commercial performance, as well as continuous analysis of key indicators such as sales, margin, prices, and turnover.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop sales projections and assortment plans by season, defining margin, price, and turnover strategies, based on the analysis of historical data, trends, and commercial guidelines, with the objective of maximizing negotiation profitability.
• Manage and follow up on the available purchase budget (Open to Buy) in conjunction with the product team, identifying opportunities to ensure timely supply.
• Monitor weekly sales performance, generating and implementing corrective actions in case of deviations, such as price adjustment strategies, promotions, or inventory acceleration.
• Anticipate supply needs when demand exceeds planned levels, proposing adjustments in product entry.
• Ensure efficient control of the assigned budget, optimizing inventory investment.
• Design and implement promotion and discount strategies throughout the commercial cycle, with the objective of maintaining healthy inventory levels and adequate turnover.

Profile:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Business, or similar.
• Experience in retail companies.
• Intermediate English level.
• Advanced Excel level (Macros).
• Budget planning and management.
• Sales forecasting and measurement of its fulfillment.
• Definition of commercial objectives and follow-up.
• High understanding of commercial metrics and reports.
• Knowledge of Tableau.
