We are looking for our next External Sourcing Coordinator
Location: Querétaro
About the role:
As an External Sourcing Coordinator, you will be a key player in ensuring the continuity and efficiency of our operation with external growers. You will coordinate the follow-up of the purchasing plan, demand changes, prices, margins, packaging materials, and administrative processes, connecting our growers with internal teams such as Planning, Sourcing, Finance, Quality, and Logistics.
This role combines analysis, coordination, and operational follow-up, with a strong focus on building collaborative relationships and ensuring that information and requirements are aligned for timely decision-making.
What will you do in your day-to-day?
- Coordinate and follow up on the administrative operation of our external growers, ensuring that requests, pending items, and priority issues are addressed promptly.
- Administer and update the purchasing plan by grower, SKU, category, and week, monitoring demand changes and volume requirements.
- Analyze recent sales trends and communicate relevant changes to the Sourcing and Planning teams to support decision-making.
- Consolidate and communicate information on prices, commercial agreements, and margin visibility by SKU and grower.
- Coordinate the follow-up of packaging materials, inventories, and deliveries, identifying risks and ensuring timely action plans.
- Follow up on administrative processes related to growers, including documentation, system onboarding, contracts, and other operational requirements.
- Prepare information for grower performance reviews, scorecards, and team follow-up routines.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Trade, Agribusiness, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Agronomy, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, commercial administration, vendor service, or in the agro-industrial sector.
- Experience working with suppliers and/or internal clients, following up on multiple requirements and processes simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Excel, databases, and report consolidation.
- Knowledge of cost, price, and margin analysis.
- Advanced English, desirable for operational communication, report reading, and system management.
- Desirable experience with fresh produce, packaging materials, ERP, or procurement management systems.
