Is seeking interested candidates for the vacancy of “Asset Security Coordinator”.
Requirements:
- Education: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Work Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge: Asset Security, Risk Management, CTPAT, BASC, and OEA
Main responsibilities of the position
1. Maintain and implement an asset security management system (ASMS) by complying with security policies, security objectives, adequate and effective controls.
2. Establish processes focused on asset security for their correct implementation in different areas.
3. Implement corrective, preventive, and improvement actions that ensure business continuity and the suitability of the ASMS.
4. Investigate incidents to ascertain root cause, new sources of risk, safeguarding records.
5. Schedule, plan, and execute internal audits, based on the periodicity determined in the audit program, to ensure compliance with ASMS requirements and applicable legislation inside and outside the organization (third-party audits), as well as to receive third-party audits by showing evidence related to the ASMS.
6. Coordinate asset security at foreign sites through the designated responsible person at each site.
7. Manage the identification, prevention, monitoring, and/or neutralization of risks and threats to minimize asset security vulnerabilities and strengthen integral security in the different operational areas.
8. Execute security, prevention, and reaction protocols in coordination with the different involved areas, as well as evaluate and verify reaction capacity to incidents.
9. Coordinate, attend, and respond to security incidents and early warnings.
10. Direct and control security guards by assigning functions and responsibilities, which must be validated to ensure they are executed or correspond to the planned outcome.
11. Define requirements for the entry of personnel, contractors, and third parties to the facilities, controlling access and safeguarding areas that should not be accessed.
12. Control and monitor building security systems (Video surveillance, recording systems, sensors/alarms, physical barriers, control centers, fire, evacuation, patrols).
13. Conduct due diligence investigations on individuals and companies as requested by Management.
14. Maintain contact with competent authorities in security matters when warranted.
15. Stay updated on the latest modus operandi of crime through public and private centers.
16. Ensure that employees who leave the organization are properly supported, complying with applicable security measures, returned assets, identification, passwords, etc.
