Job description
Objective of the position: Coordinate the planning and control of industrial warehouse construction projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, quality, and contractual requirements through comprehensive site management and customer service.
Required Profile:
- Civil Engineer or Architect
- Advanced English, with conversational proficiency
- Experience in the construction of complete industrial warehouses going through all phases/specialties (from start to finish, from earthworks, foundation, structure, sheeting, installations, finishes, project closeout)
- Experience in administrative construction control and direct client contact
- Current residence in Nuevo León
***This position does not have direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- You will be the total leader of the project, maintaining direct contact with your client (construction progress, meetings, and site visits)
- Coordinate industrial warehouse projects from start to finish, from earthworks, foundation, structure erection, sheeting, special installations, finishes, and administrative project closeout.
- Construction Control: preparation of the construction schedule, change orders and additive budgets, purchase orders and comparisons, price management and negotiation, coordination of contractor kick-offs with defined scopes on-site, estimates, volumetric calculations, manage weekly payments to subcontractors, etc.
- Review and cross-checking of engineering designs
- Total administrative closeout of projects under your responsibility
