Job description
The Production Coordinator monitors compliance with the production schedule through constant monitoring. Anticipates line stoppages by taking proactive measures. Ensures that all safety, quality, and delivery criticals are under control.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
· Professional degree completed with a specialization in manufacturing processes
· English (Desirable)
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTITUDES:
· Minimum 1 year in a similar position
· Production line balancing
· Staff management, leadership, and problem-solving
· Lean and 5S principles
· Proactive, Dynamic,
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND AUTHORITY OF THE POSITION:
· Manage material, human, machinery, and equipment resources available in the area
· Forecast wire cutting for the shift, according to the established Efficiency projection (OEE)
· Maintain order and cleanliness in the area
· Monitor personnel according to the internal work regulations
· Maintain daily Work standards
· Ensure that the preventive maintenance schedule is being met on the machines
under their charge.
KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION'S FUNCTIONS:
· Follow the daily production schedule
· Ensure maximum and minimum kan-ban (cutting) levels
· Handover to the next shift supervisor
· Schedule workloads in cutting processes
· Verify daily attendance of personnel under their charge
· Coordinate daily meetings with personnel under their charge
· Balance cutting schedule workloads based on attendance, to meet the shift's
efficiency target (OEE).
