Project: Del anzuelo al plato: strengthening sustainable fishing to safeguard marine biodiversity and food security (GCP/MEX/308/GFF)
Duration: 35 months
We offer:
- Direct hiring by WWF Mexico
- Basic salary: $44,700.00 pesos monthly (subject to tax deductions: ISR, IMSS, etc.).
- Bonus: one month's salary or the proportional part, if employment began after January 1st.

Main Function
The Coordinadora Administrativa “Del anzuelo al plato”, will be responsible for ensuring the operational, administrative, and budgetary management of the project, following WWF, FAO, and donor guidelines. This position will report directly to the Principal Technical Advisor (ATP) of the Project, in coordination with the administrative team of WWF Mexico and the Project Steering Committee, co-chaired by CONANP, CONAPESCA, IMIPAS, WWF Mexico, and FAO.
- Main Responsibilities
Plan and execute administrative, accounting, and financial operations associated with the project, ensuring they comply with WWF, FAO, and donor guidelines.
Prepare and track advances, reimbursements, contracts, payments, travel expenses, and other administrative processes necessary for the project, ensuring compliance with WWF, FAO, and donor guidelines.
Develop and send quarterly financial reports to the ATP and the administrative area of WWF Mexico, which must be approved and signed by WWF and FAO.
Prepare, review, and send in advance for approval, funding requests and progress reports on the project, ensuring they align with the budget and that payments are executed according to the project's programming (as indicated in the Letter of Agreement - LOA).
Review and ensure the quality of procurement documents for goods and services and other technical/administrative norms, all in close coordination with the ATP, Technical Assistant, and partner organizations of the project.
Ensure compliance with all LOA provisions, including timely presentation of reports and financial management of the project, during execution, including national technical partners.
Prepare, in coordination with the ATP and field team, annual Operational Plans (POAs) and their financial budget for approval by WWF Mexico and FAO.
In coordination with the ATP and administrative team of WWF Mexico, review, manage, and approve funding requests for activities associated with the project, using provided templates in the LOA, as well as formats and systems indicated by WWF Mexico.
Supervise and report monthly on the exercise of financial resources, performing accounting reconciliation to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reports.
Prepare, maintain updated, and properly documented the Project Tracking and Control Register, ensuring timely collection of documentation, evidence, and backup from involved teams. This information should reflect responsible use and management of project resources, in accordance with LOA guidelines and required reporting for audits throughout the project.
Collaborate on preparing Progress Reports on the Project (PPR) and annual reports on invested co-financing.
Gather annually from each project partner, information on invested co-financing and facilitate it for the ATP and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, when PPRs and Implementation Review (PIR) exams are prepared.

Support organizing mid-term review (MTR) and final evaluation (TE), in coordination with FAO Mexico, WWF Mexico, national project partners, and the FAO Secretariat.
Collaborate with the Technical Group Secretary and Project Steering Committee to provide data and report promptly on the financial and operational status of the project, as well as communicate any delays or difficulties that arise during project implementation to ensure support and corrective measures.
All tasks inherent to the position and project progress.
