About the opportunity

Multinational company seeks a Tax Coordinator to act as a strategic partner to tax leadership, supporting the handling of complex technical issues and area transformation initiatives.

This position is ideal for professionals with solid general tax experience, strong knowledge of ICMS and Tax Reform, as well as excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Main responsibilities

• Act as the right-hand person to Tax leadership on strategic area issues.
• Lead analyses related to ICMS and the impacts of Tax Reform.
• Provide consultative support to business areas on tax matters.
• Coordinate and monitor activities carried out by third-party tax compliance partners.
• Support audits, inspections, and process improvement projects.
• Work in partnership with areas such as Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Supply Chain.
• Develop analyses and recommendations to support decision-making.

Mandatory Requirements

• Higher education in Accounting, Law, Administration, Economics, or related fields.
• Consolidated experience in the tax area.
• In-depth knowledge of ICMS.
• Practical experience with Tax Reform.
• Knowledge of withholding taxes, Income Tax, and accounting interfaces.
• Advanced/fluent English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, collaborative profile with a strong sense of responsibility.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in multinational companies.
• Experience in Big Four consultancies.
• Knowledge of SAP, MasterSAF, or other ERPs.
• Involvement in tax transformation or continuous improvement projects.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer goods, agribusiness, chemical sectors, or industries with complex tax structures.
• Data-driven profile.
