Purchasing Coordinator

We are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator for an Important Steel Distributor in the ABC region.

Job Objective

To coordinate and execute the purchasing processes for productive materials, industrial supplies, spare parts, equipment, and maintenance materials, ensuring the supply of the company's operations, the best cost-benefit ratio in acquisitions, supplier development, and compliance with the quality, deadline, and competitiveness standards required by the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the Purchasing area, ensuring the fulfillment of demands from the production, maintenance, engineering, and other sectors of the company.
• Conduct strategic negotiations with suppliers, seeking better commercial conditions, delivery times, quality, and cost reduction.
• Purchase productive materials, industrial consumables, equipment, mechanical components, electrical components, and maintenance materials.
• Develop, qualify, and evaluate suppliers, ensuring compliance with the company's technical, commercial, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and monitor area performance indicators, proposing continuous improvement actions.
• Analyze the market, price trends, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Coordinate quotation processes, technical and commercial equalization, issuance, and tracking of purchase orders.
• Monitor compliance with contracts signed with suppliers.
• Collaborate with the Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Logistics areas to ensure adequate supply for production processes.
• Participate in the preparation of the area's annual budget and the control of acquisition costs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, compliance rules, and purchasing procedures.

Requirements

• Completed Higher Education in Administration, Engineering, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Economics, or related fields.
• Consolidated experience in industrial purchasing, preferably for metalworking, metallurgical industries, or related segments.
• Experience in negotiating productive materials and industrial maintenance materials (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic).
• Experience in family businesses, with the ability to operate in management environments close to the Partners, high flexibility, agility in decision-making, and a strong sense of ownership.
• Proficiency in the Office Suite, with an emphasis on Advanced Excel.

Hiring:

Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm

Regime: CLT (Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho - Brazilian Labor Laws) + Medical Plan + Dental Plan + Basic Food Basket + Totalpass + Parking.
