About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team in Riverside restaurant, Rockhampton. This is a full-time position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and is committed to delivering high-quality meals and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
- Assist with menu planning and seasonal specials
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Comply with WHS and food safety regulations
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work weekends and evenings
- Competitive salary package ($70,000 – $80,000 + Super)
