Ocean Bites is looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to established recipes and menu requirements.
2. Ensure food is prepared and served efficiently while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
3. Prepare ingredients, manage portion sizes, and ensure proper food storage and stock rotation.
4. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering kitchen supplies and ingredients.
5. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace health and safety.
6. Minimise food wastage and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
7. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Requirements:

1. Relevant experience as a Cook or in a similar role.
2. Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
4. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
5. Ability to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
