Mishmoosh Pty Ltd is dedicated to providing high-quality dining experiences through fresh ingredients, exceptional flavours, and warm hospitality. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cook to join our team and contribute to our growing kitchen.

The Cook will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking food in a dining or catering environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, attentive to detail, and able to maintain high standards of quality and hygiene.

• Examine foodstuffs to ensure quality and freshness.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu and standards.
• Season food during cooking to achieve optimal flavour.
• Portion and plate meals, adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes.
• Store food correctly in temperature-controlled facilities.
• Prepare meals to meet special dietary requirements when needed.
• Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements.
• Train and guide other kitchen staff and apprentices.

• Experience as a cook or similar role (preferred).
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
• Ability to follow recipes, multitask, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team-focused attitude with good communication skills.
