We specialise in authentic North and South Indian cuisine, offering our community a diverse menu featuring rich curries, tandoori specials, biryanis, and freshly prepared breads. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, flavourful meals in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing our signature dishes while ensuring the highest standards of taste, consistency, and hygiene.

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and breads according to restaurant recipes.
• Ensure all food is cooked and presented to high standards of quality, taste, and consistency.
• Plan and organise food preparation and kitchen operations efficiently during busy service periods.
• Monitor portion sizes and presentation to maintain consistency across the menu.
• Manage and maintain stock levels, including ordering and correct storage of ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations.
• Train and supervise junior staff and kitchen helpers when required.
• Adapt recipes and cooking methods to meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
• Operate and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in safe and clean working order.
• Collaborate with the team to support smooth service and a positive dining experience.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Qualification: Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Indian cooking styles, especially curries, biryanis, and tandoori techniques, will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
