Cook Full Time

Calypso Bakery Café is a popular local café and bakery located at 142 Bungaree Road, Pendle Hill, NSW 2145. We are known for our freshly baked goods, hearty breakfasts, and delicious café meals served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team on a full-time basis. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes, including breakfast items, pastries, and café-style meals. Ensure all food is cooked and presented according to café standards. Ensure all foods are stored in a temperature-controlled facility Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in accordance with Australian standards. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff as required. Coordinate with the Head Chef and management to plan menus and specials.

Skills and Experience Required:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience in a commercial kitchen or café environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and hygiene practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and early morning shifts.
