About Us:

Augello’s Balwyn is a popular restaurant renowned for its inviting ambience, exceptional service, and thoughtfully curated menu. We pride ourselves on delivering memorable dining experiences and are looking for a Cook who shares our commitment to excellence.

What we are Looking for:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher)

• At least 1 year experience in a similar cooking role

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and season a variety of dishes including soups, entrees, and main courses

• Follow and develop recipes that align with our menu and brand

• Garnish and present food in an appealing and efficient manner

• Estimate food and ingredient requirements to ensure smooth kitchen operations

• Manage proper storage of raw materials such as vegetables, meats, spices, and dry goods

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and legal standards at all times

• A flexible attitude and willingness to work weekends and varying shifts

• Reliability and a professional approach to punctuality and attendance

• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently when needed

What we offer:

• A full-time position with a minimum 2-year contract (extendable)

• Competitive annual salary of $75,000 – $ 80,000 (based on skills and experience)
