Job description

Nexus Early Learning Ringwood Pty Ltd, located at Ringwood VIC 3134, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking a variety of meals in accordance with established menus and standards.
Assisting with food preparation, portioning, and presentation of dishes.
Ensuring all food handling and preparation activities comply with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Managing food storage, stock rotation, and monitoring ingredient quality.
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About you:

Minimum one year of relevant work experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen environment.
Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking methods.
Understanding of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and workplace health and safety.
Ability to work efficiently under supervision and follow established procedures.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type:
Permanent/Full-time

Salary:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per annum.
