COO Property Management (m/f) / Member of the Executive Board

Our client is one of the leading providers of integrated facility and real estate management solutions in Switzerland. As part of an international group of companies, it is present with a large organization at numerous locations throughout Switzerland.

As part of the strategic realignment, the company will in future align operational management with business units and has created the new position of COO Real Estate Management for this purpose.

As a member of the executive board, you will have overall responsibility for property management. You will integrate the regional management units, further develop the business model, and drive end-to-end digitalization from rental agreements to invoicing. You know how to nurture existing customers and realize new market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the operational management business, including P&L, quality, and customer satisfaction

• Financial management with budgeting, forecasts, business cases, and KPIs

• Leadership of regional management units as well as central departments such as marketing and customer accounting as an integrated organization

• Further development of the subordinate areas

• Standardization of processes, standards, and control logic

• Further development of the property management business model with a view to sustainable growth

• Digitalization of processes from rental agreement management and debt collection through marketing to order management

• Management of transformation and integration projects, including change management

• Contribution to overall strategy as a member of the executive board

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Economics, Real Estate Management, or equivalent

• Several years of management and P&L experience in real estate management and in the management of large property portfolios

• Strong experience in stakeholder management; private equity experience advantageous

• Demonstrable transformation experience in integration, scaling, and process standardization

• Experience in managing decentralized organizations across multiple regions

• Digital affinity and understanding of operational business models

• Strong, integrating, and present leadership personality, entrepreneurial and assertive

• Fluent German, fluent French (required), and good English skills

Work Location: Zurich metropolitan area, with regular presence at locations throughout Switzerland. A hybrid working model is possible.
