Your Mission as COO

• You are the operational managing director of Lovebetter.

• The person who steers, prioritizes, secures, and advances the entire company.

• You lead the leaders.

• You keep track of the numbers.

• You make decisions – even the uncomfortable ones.

Your Tasks

• Leadership of the management team Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, and Head of Fulfillment, as well as Back Office/Assistant, Business Development, and HR/Recruiting report directly to you. You lead, develop, challenge – and make personnel decisions when necessary.

• Overall operational management of the company You maintain an overview of all departments, KPIs, cash flow, cost structures, and bottlenecks – daily, not just in reports.

• Numbers, Finance & Decisions You understand complex interrelationships – including P&L, cash flow, and forecasting –, identify risks early, and make entrepreneurial decisions based on facts.

• Structures, Processes & Scaling You identify weaknesses, build clear processes, reduce dependencies, and ensure that growth does not become chaotic.

• People & Communication You conduct employee and salary discussions with sensitivity, conduct final hiring interviews for relevant roles, and ensure that events and webinars run smoothly from an organizational perspective.

Close collaboration with the founder You are a sparring partner, executor, and reality check – ensuring that visions are accurately translated into operational excellence. Your goal: You gradually take over the day-to-day operational business completely from management.

Who we are looking for (and who not)

This role is a good fit for you if…

• you have worked as COO or Managing Director for at least 3 years

• you have already led 20+ employees – ideally in an established, profitable company (40–50+ employees), not exclusively in an early-stage startup

• you have proven experience in scaling or significantly developing companies

• you are excellent with numbers and truly understand complex interrelationships

• you work in a structured, analytical, and decisive manner

• you are highly skilled in communication – including in sensitive employee and salary discussions

• you personally have a genuine connection to growth and personal development – as an attitude, not a buzzword

• you remain calm under pressure and do not shy away from responsibility

• you are ego-less, accept feedback, and prioritize clarity over harmony

• you are resilient and can confidently manage phases with a high workload
