Controls Engineer

Position will require relocation to the California, USA - TN visa will need to be processed upon offer Job Description: The Controls Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design on mechanical/hydraulic power stamping presses and related automation upgrades. This Includes HMI Design, PLC Design, Safety PLC Design, Hardwire Layouts, Panel Layouts, Risk Assessments, Field Device Layouts, Installation Supervision and Full Line Commissioning. Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering/technology or related field; 2+ years of experience in controls engineering; Strong understanding of electrical design principles; Proficiency in CAD software; Experience with PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block, and Structured Text; Familiarity with safety standards and regulations; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Excellent problem-solving skills; Strong communication and documentation skills.
