Additionally, we distribute sustainable, plastic-free everyday items online under the brand Wildbär.

To efficiently manage our financial processes and support our growth, we are seeking reinforcements in the area of Controlling and Financial Accounting.

Your Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will take on central functions in financial management and analysis. You will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and control of our financial performance.

• You will be responsible for the ongoing financial accounting, which is outsourced to our tax advisor, and ensure the correct processing of all booking transactions.

• You will conduct variance analyses (planned vs. actual) and analyze deviations to identify optimization potentials.

• You will support budget planning and control.

• You will be involved in the preparation of reports and analyses for management.

• You will be the point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors.

What You Should Bring

We are looking for a personality with sound knowledge in financial accounting and controlling, who shares our passion for lean processes and high automation.

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree with a focus on finance/controlling.

• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and controlling, ideally in an FMCG environment (but not a must).

• Proficient in DATEV analyses and MS Excel.

• In-depth knowledge of HGB (German Commercial Code).

• A structured, independent way of working and a strong understanding of numbers.

• Team player and strong communication skills.
