Controller:in Corporate Management & Performance Management (m/f/d)

Do you want to actively shape the development of an innovative energy company with sound analyses and entrepreneurial thinking? As a Controller, you will be a sparring partner for management and specialist departments, creating transparency for important corporate decisions with meaningful analyses, plans, and recommendations for action. In this way, you will make a direct contribution to shaping the economic foundations for a successful heat transition.

Tasks

• Corporate Management & Planning: You will participate in annual, medium-term, and liquidity planning as well as forecasts and support quarterly and annual financial statements from a controlling perspective.
• Financial Planning & Treasury: You will create balance sheet and liquidity plans as well as cash flow analyses and take on tasks in liquidity, bank, and guarantee management.
• Reporting & Analysis: You will create and further develop meaningful reports and analyses – from contribution margin and scenario analyses to ad-hoc evaluations and management presentations.
• Market & Forecasts: You will analyze market prices, indices, and other economic influencing factors, derive forecasts from them, and create reliable decision-making bases for management and specialist departments.
• Digitalization & Processes: You will further develop modern reporting and analysis tools, identify optimization potential, and drive the digitalization and automation of our controlling processes.
• Consulting & Collaboration: As a sparring partner for management and specialist departments, you will prepare complex issues in an understandable way and derive well-founded recommendations for action from them.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Energy Management, or a comparable field.
• Experience: You have at least five years of professional experience in controlling, finance, or performance management – ideally in the energy or utility industry.
• Financial Competence: You possess sound financial and business management knowledge, a strong affinity for numbers, and a good understanding of overarching economic relationships.
• Digitalization: You have a high affinity for digital solutions and experience with modern BI, analysis, and reporting tools. You are proficient in SAP and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Analytics & Management: You think strategically and analytically, question existing processes, and identify potential for the further development of data-based management tools.
• Work Style: You convince with initiative, a sense of responsibility, and a structured, solution-oriented work style, and you enjoy taking on responsibility.
• Communication: You communicate confidently and reliably, enjoy working with different stakeholders, and have very good German and English skills in speaking and writing.
