Senior
Job description
WE are looking for you!
- You will shape the controlling of the future by using modern analysis, business intelligence, predictive analytics, and AI solutions. In doing so, you will act as a sparring partner for our departments, develop self-service solutions, promote data literacy, and drive the use of modern BI and AI technologies.
Do what you love
- You act as a sparring partner for the departments and advise them on budgets, ongoing expenses, and forecasts. You will identify (financially) critical developments and challenges, develop suitable countermeasures together with the departments, and support their implementation.
- Together with the departments, you will evaluate the development of relevant key figures, conduct in-depth analyses if necessary, and advise on deriving suitable courses of action.
- You actively support the departments in preparing cost-benefit analyses and business cases and evaluate planned measures from a business perspective. You will critically question goals and assumptions and be available to the departments as a consulting sparring partner.
- You will conduct ad-hoc analyses to evaluate current business developments and analyze anomalies. You will prepare the findings in an audience-appropriate manner and support the departments in deriving suitable measures.
- If necessary, you will develop new reports and dashboards to make relevant developments permanently transparent. You will also regularly review key figures, reports, and dashboards, continuously develop them, and document their application. You will actively drive the automation of reports and dashboards.
- You will develop analysis tools to enable user-friendly and efficient work with data, for example, through self-service solutions for departments, dashboards, or data models in the MDP business layer. You will strategically use AI technologies. You will document the structure, use, and functionality of the tools, maintain them, and develop them further as needed.
- You will support the preparation of the annual budget as well as the associated coordination and approval processes.
- You will serve as the central point of contact for colleagues in financial accounting.
- You will observe current developments and trends in the fields of data analysis, business intelligence, predictive analytics, and AI and help shape the further development of controlling.
