Responsibilities

• Calculation & Pricing: You will create pre- and post-calculations for offers, orders, and projects, check margins, and further develop calculation schemas, cost rates, and prices.
• Business Controlling: You will analyze contribution margins and profitability of our business areas, be responsible for budget & forecast, and keep an eye on actual vs. target variances, inventory, and working capital.
• Reporting & Insights: You will further develop our management reporting and relevant KPIs, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and derive concrete recommendations for action from them.
• Structures & You will further develop our cost center and cost unit structure as well as controlling processes and ensure a reliable data basis across our various systems.
• Business Partnering: You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Project Management, and Management, and create economic transparency for informed decisions.

Qualifications

• You have relevant experience in Controlling, Business Controlling, Project Controlling, Commercial Controlling, or Calculation.
• You understand cost structures, margins, and contribution margins and can derive economic interrelationships from them.
• Pre- and post-calculations as well as actual vs. target analyses are familiar territory for you.
• You are very proficient in using Excel or Google Sheets and can also analyze large amounts of data in a structured way.
• Ideally, you have already worked with ERP, merchandise management, finance, or BI systems.
• You enjoy building structures rather than just processing existing processes.
• You are analytically strong, but at the same time pragmatic enough to turn an analysis into a decision.
• You can present complex numbers in such a way that even people without a controlling background immediately understand what it's all about.
• You work independently, in a structured manner, and with a high standard of quality.
• And you are eager to work in an environment where fashion, merch, music, production, e-commerce, and business come together.

Not a must – but definitely a plus:

• Experience in a project-related, production-related, or trade-related environment
• Understanding of inventory, purchasing, production, and supply chain
• Experience with pricing and offer calculation
• Experience in building KPI or management reporting
• Knowledge of BI tools or data visualization
• Interest in automation and how AI can make controlling processes smarter
