Controller Jr (LATAM)

Job description

We are looking for an Controller Jr to support our Regional Controller in strengthening financial governance, reporting, and controllership processes across Latin America.


In this role, you will partner closely with finance leaders across the region to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and the successful integration of new entities into a scalable accounting platform. This is a highly visible position with significant exposure to regional and global stakeholders


What You'll

  • Do Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process across LATAM.
  • Prepare and analyze regional financial reports, management reporting packages, and variance analyses
  • Drive accounting standardization and alignment of policies, chart of accounts, and reporting structures throughout the region
  • Support internal control programs, compliance initiatives, and remediation efforts
  • Partner with local finance teams to improve close processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
  • Review balance sheet accounts and reconciliation processes to ensure integrity and transparency
  • Participate in regional and statutory audits, supporting audit readiness and issue resolution
  • Assist in M&A integration efforts, including reporting structures, accounting policies, and financial processes
  • Collaborate with Global Tax, Corporate Finance, and regional stakeholders on regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance scalability, standardization, and controllership effectiveness


What We're Looking F

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Controllership, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Audit, or Regional Finance
  • Understanding of US GAAP, financial consolidation, and internal control
  • Experience working in multinational organizations and multi-country environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions and geographies
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
  • English proficiency required
