We are looking for a specialist in trade and gastronomy concepts; one of the largest travel retailers, at Frankfurt Airport's Support Center in Squaire to fill a permanent position.

Aufgaben

• Carrying out monthly closures and related deviation analyses
• Creating forecasts and supporting budget planning
• Fulfilling the role of Business Partner (m/w/d) for management, department heads, and specialist departments
• Evaluating and reviewing decisions, participating in ongoing projects (target focus)
• Planning and implementing projects in the financial area, including ERP system and BI tool
• Liquidation planning and monitoring
• Presentation of key figures for management
• Serving as a contact point for subsidiaries on operational and financial issues and specialized topics in the field of Controlling
• Supporting the Operations department (procurement, supply chain, product development & quality) with reports and serving as an interface between the department's needs and the Finance team
• Creating, validating, and analyzing monthly reporting (including P&L management) and presenting it to stakeholders – bringing numbers to life
• Coordinating the planning and monthly closure process
• Establishing and developing Controlling, including internal reporting systems, P&L management, and KPIs
• Supporting business units in short-term, medium-term, and long-term budget planning
• Establishing and developing themes with a focus on financially relevant issues – identifying potential for improving profitability and highlighting growth opportunities
• Making decisions and implementing digitalization, automation, and process optimization

Qualifikation

• A successful economics or business studies degree, preferably with a focus on finance/controlling
• Multiple years of experience in Controlling or sales-related activities with a Controlling connection; industry knowledge from the retail sector is an advantage
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
• A versatile and analytical team player with independent, proactive, and operational working style
• Excellent communication skills across all hierarchical levels, 'hands-on' mentality, strong teamwork, and a self-reliant, result-oriented work approach
• Safe application of all MS Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• You have knowledge and experience in the areas of business development, market intelligence, portfolio management, developing key figure-based control logics, strategy development, commercial excellence, process efficiency
