Job description
Reporting to the CEO, the Controller will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all reporting, while safeguarding organizational assets. The Controller will take full accountability for the finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational oversight of payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. In addition to managing processes, the Controller will develop, mentor, and lead the finance team, establishing clear goals, objectives, and performance metrics. The Controller will also ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and maintain effective relationships with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, including GAAP, and have experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The Controller will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders, and will work closely with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. The Controller will also be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records, and will maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
