Tasks

• Tight cooperation with the accountant and management
• Preparation of financial accounting
• Booking ongoing business transactions (creditors, debtors, bank, cash)
• Creation and maintenance of financial reports and regular reporting
• Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Monitoring of income and expense flows as well as dunning procedures
• Responsibility for invoicing and auditing
• Budget planning and controlling in coordination with management
• Analysis of financial data and creation of evaluations to support decision-making
• Support in optimizing financial processes and workflows
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal guidelines
• Contact person for external partners like accountants, banks, and service providers

Qualification

• Completed commercial training, ideally with a focus on accounting/finance, or an economics degree
• Multiple years of experience in accounting, controlling, or finance management
• Very good knowledge of ongoing bookkeeping and handling relevant accounting systems (e.g. DATEV, Lexoffice, SevDesk)
• Safe handling of MS Excel or Google Sheets and common office tools
• Experience in creating financial analyses, budget overviews, and reports
• Understanding of tax principles and bookkeeping guidelines
• Outstanding analytical thinking and high numerical affinity
• Structured, meticulous, and independent working style
• High reliability and trustworthiness in handling sensitive financial data
• Communication strength and joy in close cooperation with management and external partners
