Controller / Business & Financial Analyst (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced developer to strengthen our team at our headquarters in Hamburg. The position is available full-time or part-time – either on-site in Hamburg or remotely.

Qualifikation

This is your task:

As a Controller / Business & Financial Analyst (m/w/d), you are responsible for the Controlling department and will take on supporting tasks in financial accounting. In this context, you will particularly perform the following tasks:

• Aufbau und Pflege von Controlling Tools sowie Mitarbeit bei der Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung von Finanz- und Reporting-Prozessen
• Unterstützung bei der Budgetplanung sowie laufende Überwachung und Analyse der Entwicklung
• Erstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Forecasts
• Mitwirkung bei Monats-, und Jahresabschlüssen sowie externen Audits
• Laufende Aufbereitung und Bewertung von Business- und Finanzkennzahleninklusive Ursachenanalyse und Ableitung von Optimierungspotenzialen
• Datenabgleich und Sicherstellung der Konsistenz zwischen verschiedenen Systemen (z. B. ERP-, POS-, Reporting- und Buchhaltungssysteme)
• Durchführung von Ad-hoc-Analysen zur Unterstützung operativer und strategischer Entscheidungen in Zusammenarbeit mit Accounting, Operations und weiteren Fachbereichen

This is what you bring:

• Completed education or university studies ideally with a focus on Controlling / Finance
• At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting or controlling
• Safe handling of MS Office, especially Excel
• Good to very good knowledge of German and English language in word and writing
• A quick understanding ability, conscientiousness, good organizational skills, enthusiasm for teamwork, and a keen eye for detail
• Experience with DATEV and Power BI will be appreciated by our colleagues
