Controller / Business Analyst (m/f/d) up to €75,000

For our long-standing client, a stable company in the greater Düsseldorf and Cologne area, we are looking for a Controller / Business Analyst (m/f/d) to support the Controlling Team. This is a newly created position to expand the existing Controlling Team. Internal development is highly valued by our client, and even as a motivated "Junior", you will quickly find your footing with our client with the appropriate professional onboarding. However, even as a "Senior", your professional experience makes you a welcome new member of the team. Perhaps you want to move away from traditional Financial Controlling and prefer to use your analytical skills to derive actionable recommendations by analyzing large amounts of data? Tasks

- You will analyze relevant KPIs of the respective business units and derive well-founded recommendations for management
- You will act as a sparring partner for the individual departments in the sense of a Business Partner
- You will create, develop, and automate various reports
- You will be significantly involved in the setup and maintenance of BI solutions, ideally with Power BI
- You will support budget planning, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Together with the departments, you will look for optimization potential
- Ensuring and continuously improving reporting processes also falls within your area of responsibility

Qualifications

• - Completed degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or a comparable qualification
  - Several years of experience in Controlling or in a comparable analytical role, for example as a Business Analyst
  - Very strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
  - Profound knowledge in the area of reporting
  - Experience with BI tools, ideally Power BI, is an advantage
  - Proficient in Excel
  - Structured, independent way of working, as well as strong communication and assertiveness skills
  - Good English skills
