Controller

You have acquired experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and would like to continue your professional development within a team? Join our accounting and finance team at QSL's head office located in the Port of Quebec and come contribute to the success and growth of our organization.

In collaboration with the corporate controller, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements for different divisions of QSL, as well as working on various mandates and acting as a resource person for our accounting team.

Main responsibilities :

• Participate in the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts for our different divisions as well as consolidated financial statements;
• Prepare the necessary information for the production of Canadian and US tax declarations;
• Take charge of various fiscal checks and requests for information from Canada and the United States;
• Participate in the preparation of the annual audit file;
• Contribute to the improvement of internal processes;
• Prepare analyses and reports requested by management;
• Contribute to the improvement of internal processes;
• Participate in special mandates.

You are an autonomous and proactive person who wants to put your teamwork skills forward. You possess an analytical spirit as well as the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, accounting profile;
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) title;
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a public accounting firm;
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
• Bilingualism in French and English*;
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (primarily Excel) and data analysis software;
• Availability for occasional travel.

*Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position since it involves interactions with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec, spread throughout our network in North America and internationally.
