Controller General

Controller General for Hotel El Ganzo, a luxury boutique hotel in San José del Cabo, seeks Controller General with strong financial focus, responsible for ensuring control, analysis, and correct management of financial information for the hotel, supporting directly the General Management in strategic decision-making. The position combines accounting control, financial planning, and operational leadership within a creative, dynamic, and high-level environment in hospitality. Responsibilities primarily include: • Control and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. • Preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders. • Development and implementation of financial plans and budgets to achieve business objectives. • Identification and mitigation of financial risks and opportunities. • Collaboration with the General Management in strategic decision-making processes. • Leadership and guidance of the accounting team, ensuring effective communication and coordination. • Maintenance of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements. • Continuous improvement of financial processes and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
