Contracts Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the contractual and commercial delivery of projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years relevant experience, with a strong background in both residential and commercial projects.

Requirements:

· 8+ years of relevant Contracts Management experience.

· Education: BTech/BSc/BEng, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related built-environment discipline.

· Must be registered as a Professional Construction Manager or close to professional registration with the SACPCMP.

· Proven exposure to residential and commercial projects.

· Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management.

· Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple contractual priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the administration and management of project contracts.

· Manage contractual obligations from inception through to project completion.

· Review and manage variations, claims, extensions of time and contractual notices.

· Monitor project performance against contractual and commercial requirements.

· Identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

· Work closely with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams.

· Assist with contract negotiations and dispute resolution.

· Ensure contractual documentation and reporting are maintained accurately.

· Contribute to the successful delivery of residential and commercial projects.
