If you are a master of the lathe and milling machine who takes pride in diagnosing intricate mechanical failures, keeping rotating assets running smoothly, and building brand-new project lines from the ground up, this role gives you the platform to showcase your craft.

What Youll Do:

• Perform precision machining, milling, turning, and hands-on mechanical assembly for new project line commissions.
• Execute critical maintenance tasks, including bearing and shaft changes, gearbox overhauls, and hydraulic and pneumatic system servicing.
• Drive rapid fault-finding and root-cause diagnosis to resolve machine stoppages in a live factory setting.

What You Bring:

• A minimum Grade 12 qualification accompanied by a recognized Qualified Fitting and Turning Trade Test Certificate.
• 2 to 4 years of solid post-trade experience working as a Fitter and Turner within a technical steel and manufacturing environment.
• Reliability with your own transport, physical fitness for a demanding plant environment, and flexibility for overtime, call-outs, and standby
