As Contractmanager, you are responsible for the design and realization phase of projects within the industry and infrastructure. You support the project organization in complying with contractual obligations and use your expertise to ask the right questions and set conditions during the tender phase. With your technical and legal knowledge, you elevate our projects to a higher level.

Together with your colleagues on the Risk and Contract Management (R&CM) department, you contribute to the development of the organization in the field of contract management and contract forms. You work closely with the Management Team of our Industry division to continuously improve our processes and strengthen our competitive position. Many contracts are unique and innovative in their setup. You also enjoy bringing these contracts to a success and bringing the revenue model for both parties into effect. You form the bridge between our client and our execution at the realization of our contract work.

• Ensure compliance with policy objectives, work processes, procedures, and quality guidelines that apply within the contract;
• Optimize and manage contracts and processes on a financial, technical, and executive level;
• Advise on procurement;
• Contractual risk management;
• You engage in discussions with lawyers regarding complex (legal) issues and large claims on projects;
• You engage in discussions with clients or client groups.

To be successful in this position, you have the following:

• You have a completed HBO/WO education in a technical and/or legal field;
• You have affinity for both mechanical engineering and electrical engineering;
• You have knowledge of integrated contracts, such as those based on the UAV-GC;
• You are meticulous, know how to communicate effectively, and are customer-oriented;
• You have several years of experience in a similar function in a technical (project) environment and are financially well-versed;
• Experience with projects in the Industrial sector and contract management on English-language contracts is a plus.
