The Contracting Divisional Manager is accountable for overall leadership and performance of both departments, ensuring business and project outcomes are achieved. Mō te tūranga | About the role You will oversee multiple functional areas (including regional and maintenance projects, excavation, pavement construction, surface treatment, and other activities) to ensure successful delivery of projects. This includes managing budgets, schedules, and resources for each project. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: • Providing leadership and guidance to the Contracting Projects and Rail Departments in Dunedin. • Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business outcomes and project objectives. • Managing budgets, schedules, and resources for each project. • Overseeing multiple functional areas (including regional and maintenance projects, excavation, pavement construction, surface treatment, and other activities). • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams. • Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery. • Developing and implementing processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
