Contract Senior Front End Engineer

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for building beautiful and performant user interfaces. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the front-end of our website and applications, working closely with the design and back-end teams to deliver a seamless user experience. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain the front-end of our website and applications. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. * Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to implement new features and improve existing ones. * Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. * Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. * Troubleshoot and debug issues. * Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in front-end development. * Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. * Experience with React.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks. * Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand). * Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. * Experience with RESTful APIs. * Familiarity with Git and version control. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Nice to have:** * Experience with Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks. * Experience with TypeScript. * Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library). * Experience with UI/UX design principles. * Experience with e-commerce platforms. **Contract Details:** * This is a contract position with an initial term of 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension. * The position is remote. * Competitive hourly rate. **To Apply:** * Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and why you are a good fit for this role.
