Contract & Claim Manager (m/f/d)

The position is located in our Contract & Claim Management department (currently approx. 4 employees). As a Contract & Claim Manager (m/f/d) at the Bremen or Munich locations, you will play a central role in processing and managing HOAI-based contracts and claims.

Tasks that motivate

• Claims Management & Settlement: Review and processing of claims for engineering contracts according to HOAI, including negotiations and dispute resolution for performance deviations or cost overruns.

• Contract Management: Creation, review, and adaptation of contracts considering HOAI and German contract law.

• Remuneration & Cost Control: Advice on HOAI fees, support with cost forecasts and control during the project lifecycle.

• Dispute Resolution: Central point of contact for resolving contract disputes in the HOAI context.

• Documentation & Reporting: Creation of reports and ensuring complete documentation for internal and legal purposes.

• Communication & Collaboration: Close coordination with project teams, legal department, and external partners to ensure smooth processes.

• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Passing on best practices in contract and claims management to project teams.

Qualifications that convince:

• Completed studies in law, construction management, business law, architecture, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience

• Several years of professional experience in contract and/or claims management, ideally with reference to HOAI

• Sound knowledge of German contract law (especially HOAI and BGB)

• Ability to manage multiple contracts

• Authoritative presence, negotiation skills, team spirit

• Analytical thinking, diligence, and accuracy

• Conflict resolution skills

• Very good German and English skills (min. C1)
