We are seeking a motivated Contract Administrator to join our team. This role is essential to supporting the delivery of our projects by ensuring contracts are prepared, executed, and managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts and subcontracts.
  • Drafting contract terms, conditions, and variations in line with project requirements.
  • Liaising with project managers, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
  • Coordinating the tendering and procurement process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating submissions.
  • Negotiating contract terms with external stakeholders to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Monitoring contract performance, progress, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identifying and managing contract risks, disputes, and claims in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all contract documentation and correspondence.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
  • Supporting project delivery by ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Preparing and issuing purchase orders, progress claims, and payment schedules.
  • Providing contract-related advice and guidance to management and project teams.
  • Ensuring workplace health, safety, and environmental standards are reflected in contract obligations.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement in contract administration processes within the business.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and contract management processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems will be an advantage.
