As a result, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounting Principles Manager (Focus HGB) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting principles that align with the company's strategic goals. Your main tasks will include: • Developing and implementing accounting principles in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as internal guidelines and policies • Collaborating with other departments to ensure consistent application of accounting principles across the company • Providing guidance and support to accountants and other stakeholders on accounting-related matters • Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in accounting processes • Maintaining relationships with external auditors, tax authorities and other stakeholders • Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant deadlines • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's financial situation and trends • Providing insights and recommendations to management on financial matters • Participating in the development of the company's accounting strategy and contributing to the implementation of new accounting principles and procedures. We are looking for someone who has: • A degree in accounting, finance or a related field • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on financial reporting and compliance • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP, as well as relevant laws and regulations • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and leadership skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Additional languages are an asset. • A strong understanding of the automotive industry and its trends is desirable.
