Primary Job Title: SEO Content Writer (On-site, India)

About the Opportunity

We are hiring an on-site Content Writer to join a fast-paced content & growth team. You will produce SEO-optimized blog posts, landing page copy, product content and marketing collateral that drive organic traffic, engagement and conversions. This role suits a detail-oriented writer who understands search intent, content strategy and hands-on execution using CMS and analytics tools.

Role & Responsibilities

• Plan and produce high-quality SEO content—blogs, long-form articles, landing pages and product copy—aligned to the content calendar and business goals.
• Conduct keyword research, map search intent, and optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers) to improve SERP visibility.
• Work with SEO and product teams to create content briefs, optimize internal linking, and support RAG/technical SEO initiatives.
• Publish and manage content in CMS (WordPress), ensuring formatting, accessibility and on-page schema where applicable.
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy and brand voice; enforce style guides and SEO best practices.
• Measure content performance via Google Analytics/Search Console and iterate content for CTR, dwell time and conversion improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 1 - 2 years of professional content writing experience, preferably for tech, SaaS or digital marketing brands.
• Strong command of on-page SEO: keyword research, meta tags, header structure and content optimization techniques.
• Proven ability to write clear, compelling copy for blogs, landing pages and product features; portfolio required.
• Hands-on experience with CMS (WordPress), basic HTML formatting and publishing workflows.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console for content performance tracking.
• Excellent editing, grammar and adherence to style guides (AP/Chicago or in-house).

Preferred

• Experience with content briefs, content strategy and topical cluster planning.
• Basic understanding of technical SEO, schema markup and page speed implications for content.
• Experience collaborating with designers, developers and growth teams in an agile environment.
