Job description

Introduction

We are looking for new colleagues! Migrando is a legal tech company from Cottbus. We have made it our mission to make the complicated and lengthy naturalization process more efficient and customer-friendly. With our expertise in immigration law, our legal competence, and a strong team of numerous employees, we successfully guide thousands of clients on their path to German citizenship. It's best to get an insight at migrando(.)de/karriere, our career page. Because we can write whatever we want here, in the end, it remains a boring introduction.

We don't care what certificates you have or where you studied. What interests us is: What can you really do? Someone who has worked in practice for years and gained hands-on experience brings more than any course completion. For us, what counts most is what you can really do in practice – your many years of relevant experience. Formal degrees and certificates are secondary if your skills are convincing.

We offer you

You know what you're doing and want an environment where that is also demanded. At Migrando, you get full responsibility for content strategy and implementation, a team that delivers, and a reach that makes real tests worthwhile.

  • First-class modern toolset
Ahrefs, Searchmetrics, Screaming Frog, Sistrix, or Semrush – you choose the tools you need for the best analysis and performance. We value the best setup, not budget limitations for essential aids.
  • Data instead of gut feeling
You get the space to formulate hypotheses, structure A/B tests, and truly evaluate results – not just report traffic, but understand what's behind it and what needs to be done next.
  • A team that thinks along
Design, SEO, Development, Performance Marketing – you work directly with specialists who know what they're doing. Short paths, clear agreements, quick implementation.
  • High-end hardware of your choice
Whether MacBook or Windows Tower – you decide. Plus 4K monitors and everything you need for focused work.
  • Large reach
15,000 website clicks daily, 6,500 blog and news clicks per day. Your content doesn't disappear into the void – it's read, tested, and improved. You quickly see what works.
  • Small teams instead of open-plan offices
You work in manageable teams where people know each other and can quickly get into conversation.
  • Music at work
We don't frown if you put on headphones. If it helps you (and doesn't bother others), you can even blast heavy metal through a sound system at your desk.
  • Modern old building office in the heart of Cottbus
High ceilings, lots of natural light, plants in the rooms, and a courtyard for breaks. You can get a glimpse of our premises on our website.
  • Ergonomic workstation with modern equipment
Back-friendly chair, height-adjustable desk, two large monitors, a high-quality headset, a powerful laptop, and a quiet environment.
  • Home office option
We fundamentally work in the office because collaboration and exchange on-site are important to us. At the same time, home office is possible at any time. Even spontaneously and without long coordination.
  • Trust-based working hours without core hours
We don't have prescribed time slots in which you must be present.
  • Flexible part-time models
Whether a 4-day week, 30 hours, or an individual model. Your job should fit your life, not the other way around.
  • Take spontaneous vacation
Sometimes you just need a break. We plan our teams so that spontaneous days off are also possible, without stress or guilt.
  • Family-friendly culture
Sick children, parent-teacher evening, or a short doctor's appointment – we know that such situations are part of everyday life. Family and health come first for us.
  • Short distances
With us, you don't have to navigate through hierarchies or write long emails to be heard. You can speak directly with colleagues, team leads, or management at any time. Decisions are made quickly, exchange is direct, and no one sits in an ivory tower.
  • Shape instead of just work
We are looking for colleagues who think along. If you have an idea how a process can be improved, a tool would be useful, or a workflow could function more smartly, then you will be heard.
  • Meaningful work
Your activity has a direct impact on people's lives. You support them in arriving in Germany, finding security, and starting a new chapter. This is not dry office work – it is work with real meaning and tangible impact.
  • In-house feel-good offers
Our Feel-Good Manager regularly provides for small breaks – from neck and shoulder massages to short relaxation and beauty sessions to moments to catch your breath.
  • Regular team events
We like to celebrate. Summer party by the lake, cozy Christmas party, Halloween bash, joint lunches, or after-work dinners with the department. Our events ensure that we grow together as a team and can put everyday work aside for a while. But don't worry: attendance is not mandatory, and leaving early is also not a problem.
  • On-site fitness room
Our own fitness room is available to you directly on-site – free of charge, well-equipped, and accessible at any time.

Possible Areas of Responsibility

In this role, you will create content that is found, understood, and converts. You will plan, write, optimize – and work closely with SEO, Design, and Marketing to do so. Whether it's a landing page, ad creatives, email campaign, or CTAs on our blog.

  • SEO copywriting & optimization
You create high-quality, SEO-optimized long- and short-form content – from technical articles to landing pages and FAQs. You don't write for search engines, but for people – with the knowledge that these are not mutually exclusive.
  • Copywriting
You write clear, understandable texts for website and service pages, guides, email sequences, and ads. You know that the difference between a good and a very good text is often a single phrasing.
  • Content audit & optimization
You don't let existing content become outdated. You regularly check performance, timeliness, and SEO suitability, close content gaps, and actively prevent content decay.
  • Performance reporting
You create reports on traffic, rankings, leads, and CRO metrics – and derive concrete recommendations for action from them.
  • Conversion rate optimization
You analyze where users drop off, formulate clear hypotheses, and optimize content, CTAs, and page structures. A/B tests are not an extra effort for you, but standard procedure.
  • Landing page development
Together with the design team, you develop conversion-strong landing pages – from conceptual content planning and fine-tuning in the Elementor page builder to evaluation after launch.
  • Storytelling & Marketing
You don't just think of content as articles. You develop new formats – interactive guides, info pages, conversion elements – and tell complex topics in a way that they really resonate.
  • Hubspot Marketing Tool
You develop landing pages, CTAs, forms, and campaigns with Hubspot's marketing tools, place them on the homepage in coordination with the team, and evaluate the results together with the team.

Your Profile

For us, degrees or certificates don't count – but real craftsmanship and experience do. We are looking for someone who not only produces content but also thinks strategically: Why is someone searching for this term? What do they expect to find? And what needs to happen for them to stay – and convert? For us, what counts most is what you can really do in practice – your many years of relevant experience and your sense of responsibility.

  • Experience in Content Marketing & Storytelling
You have already developed content that not only sounds good but is also read, understood, and used. You know how to build and implement a content strategy – and can prove it with successful campaigns.
  • Sense for SEO & Search Intentions
Keyword research, SERP analysis, search intent – this is craftsmanship for you, which you master in your sleep. You know when to tackle a topic with a long article and when a short, focused page ranks better.
  • Practical experience in content optimization
You don't just leave existing content lying around. You look at the numbers, identify potential, and improve texts, structure, and CTAs step by step.
  • You work cross-functionally
Good content is rarely created in isolation. You provide clear feedback, actively seek input from design, SEO, and performance marketing – and know how to achieve better results together more quickly.
  • Eye for user guidance & conversion
You always view texts from the user's perspective: understandable, logically structured, with a clear next step. You know that a good CTA is not a coincidence.
  • Strong writing skills
You write excellent German, good English, and have a keen sense for clear, understandable language, even with complex topics. You recognize when a text isn't doing what it should, and you know how to do it better.
  • Hands-on mentality
You don't wait for the perfect solution. You test new formats, optimize continuously, and bring projects to the finish line independently.
  • Nice to have – SEO tools
Sistrix, Ahrefs, Google Search Console – you have worked with them and know how to interpret the data. WordPress, Elementor, and HubSpot are preferably not new territory for you.
  • Nice to have – CMS & Design proximity
WordPress or Headless CMS are not foreign to you, and you have no problem coordinating with designers in Figma.
  • Nice to have – HubSpot experience
We like to use HubSpot's marketing features. If you've had anything to do with it before – even better.
  • No formal requirements
You don't need a degree or 30 further training courses. We want to find talent and capable new colleagues. Even if you don't meet all the points here – we are looking for experienced and responsible colleagues; ideally, you have been active in this field for many years and have gained many learnings. Because that's exactly what we're interested in: clean, long-term robust problem solutions. And you usually only get those after having to learn them the hard way for a while.
  • Simple communication
You are communicative and open. Actually, we don't want to write generic things here, but this point is important. Good collaboration often outweighs pure know-how. A colleague with whom collaboration is pleasant and smooth can be more valuable in everyday life than someone with more know-how, with whom communication is rather sluggish.
  • German or English
You speak German or English, or ideally both (approx. B2 level). Don't worry, we don't expect proof of language level.
