Content Marketing Manager (m/w/d)

You are our first Content Hire and build the content area from scratch. From website content, social media to sales enablement – you shape how we tell our story, generate leads with your contents and convince customers.

As second marketing person after our Marketing Lead, this is a generalist role with strategic and operational responsibility. You define the content strategy, implement it yourself and experiment what works at our target group.

This is the right role for you if:

• You have fun building content from scratch (not just optimizing).
• You can transform complex B2B SaaS topics into compelling stories.
• You are interested in AI for Content Creation, experiment and develop yourself – without losing your personal touch.
• You think strategically and implement operationally – from idea to publication.
• You like fast iterations and don't need 3 approval rounds to publish a blog post.

Aufgaben

What you do in the first 90 days:

• Product Understanding and Messaging Frameworks: You learn our tool inside out and dive deep into our target group. Your messaging framework emerges.
• Website SEO/GEO: You develop the content strategy for our organic growth and bring first articles/landing pages live. The result: Traffic grows, and we see first click rates and conversions of qualified leads.
• Content Creation for LinkedIn: You publish first postings and notice which formats work and which don't. You've learned what our ICP really responds to.
• Sales Enablement: Sales Decks, One-Pager, Battle Cards – You support sales and customer success in turning their thoughts into compelling content.
• E-Mail Flows: No spam, but useful tips for our users. The content for that comes from you.
• User Activation: You have ideas on how we can also convince within our tool with content? Or do you want to create a demo video or other content formats? Super! Your creativity has no limits.

Teamwork makes the dream work – that's what you don't need to be able to:

• Design: We work with a design agency together, which supports your ideas. If you also have a sense for design, that's definitely a plus point.
• Press: Our PR agency will bring us into relevant media and sharpen our positioning. This brings valuable input and traffic for your content ideas.
• Paid Ads: You take care of the idea and content of the ads. For the scheduling and strategy, we get external support.
• CRM: You speak the language of our users in all content formats, including emails. How to build an email flow yourself, you don't need to know.
• Marketing Strategy and Questions: With everything you do, your Marketing Lead is there with advice and support and looks forward to working with you.

Qualifikation

You bring:

• Experience in Content Marketing – preferably in the B2B SaaS/Tech area.
• Creativity and sense for target groups – storytelling talent for complex tech topics.
• Conversion Writing – you write content that not only informs but also convinces.
• German (native language) + English (very good) – We operate on the German market, communicate within the company in English.
• First experience with AI tools for Content Creation – AI-first is lived at our company. The human touch must not be missing.
• Hands-on mentality – from strategy to implementation, you take care of it yourself.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn – We don't expect you to be an expert in every single content area. What's important is the willingness and enthusiasm to get involved in new areas.
