Content Manager / Multimedia-Journalist:in (m/w/d)

Content is a central part of our Growth Engine at mika. We are looking for a multimedia journalist who/that is responsible for our entire content production. Not just text, but also video, podcast, and visual formats. You will work directly with our Head of Growth and our founder/CEO as part of the growth team in an interdisciplinary setup.

This is not just a writing role. You research topics, organize them, and set them up multimedially: as blog articles, podcast episodes, videos, social media formats, or ads creatives. You manage the content calendar, measure what works, and iterate. You decide with us which stories we tell, in which format, and on which channel.

KI tools are not a hype for you, but working tools. You actively use them in your workflow: to research, produce, optimize. This is a requirement at mika.

Aufgaben

Your Impact in the first 3-6 months

• You take over the content calendar and production workflows. Deadlines are met, everyone knows what's coming and when.
• You produce and publish a constant stream of content across all formats and channels, independently and reliably.
• You build a system to measure content performance, evaluate it, and learn from it.
• The podcast runs: topic research, preparation, cutting, processing, shorts, distribution. Everything is in your hands.

Your Responsibility

• Content production that works: blog articles, podcast episodes, videos, social media formats, landing pages, ads creatives, email sequences, presentations. You master different formats and adjust tone and structure to the respective channel and target group.
• Multimedia thinking and implementation: you are not just a writer. You produce and manage video formats, cut material, develop visual concepts. Journalistic work across all media is your core.
• Podcast responsibility: from topic research to preparation and recording accompaniment to cutting, processing of shorts, and follow-up processing. You are responsible for the entire process.
• Maintaining the content machine: you manage the editorial plan, coordinate deadlines, and publish across all channels.
• Surely findable: you apply SEO, AEO, and GEO principles to ensure that mika is found where our target audience is looking, even in KI-supported channels.
• Working with you track what works and what doesn't, and use this knowledge to make the next content better.
• mika representation outside: you are ready to travel for relevant events and industry conferences to make mika visible there.

Qualification

What you bring

• 3-5+ years of experience in multimedia content production, ideally in a digital, SaaS, or tech environment
• Journalistic craftsmanship: you can research, organize topics, and prepare them so that they reach different target groups, whether freelancers who hate bookkeeping or tech-savvy founders
• Multimedia is your thing: you write well, produce videos, cut material, and think in formats, not just text
• Strong implementation across various formats: blog, social media, email, video, ads, landing pages, podcast
• Experience with managing a content calendar and coordinating across multiple channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, email, podcast platforms)
• Ideal: first experiences in collaboration with influencers
• Solid SEO understanding and genuine interest in how KI-supported search (AEO/GEO) changes content findability
• You actively use KI tools as a fixed part of your workflow. This is not just a nice addition, but a basic requirement.
• You can manage multiple workstreams parallelly and work structured and independently
• Travel readiness for relevant events and industry conferences
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills
